Kim Box Photography

We cannot say enough good things about Kim Box and her photography staff and studio. These are some of the beautiful photos she took for us last week-end for promotional pictures for Pb & J. Kim herself is such a sweet girl, and her photography is really top shelf - I've never had or seen photos taken that were excellent every time, 10 times out of 10. We want to say a huge THANK YOU!! Sweetie Pi

Here are some new pictures from the Sweetie Pi collection! This will include the burp cloth, bib, and diaper cover, and with the matching polka dots and zebra theme. Of course, there is no "e" on Pi, b/c it is short for Piper! The other collections like this one are the Love Bug, Sweet P, and Slow Poke for girls, the End Zone, Tiger Tail, and Frequent Flier for boys. Of course, you can personalize any set with a monogram in place of the design. Check our website this week, as we are updating it to reflect all of our new products! We'll also be posting our fall (halloween/thanksgiving) clothing with Christmas soon to follow!

cups and clothes!

I'm going to be making monogrammed cups! The cups are the design it yourself sippy cups from Playtex. They have a straw (the basic sippy mouth is supposed to be bad for some reason, so playtex is not going to carry them much longer...) and come in pink, purple, turquoise, and lime. These are SO cute, and you never have to wonder which cup is your child's!

Hannah and Cade

Photos

Today was picture day down at Kim's (Kim Box Photography), with Piper, Prescott, Payton, and Joanna. We took a stack of Pb and J's finest clothing and walked all over downtown Prattville shooting photographs at every turn. Sam and Mr. Danny came along, as did Jonathan and Tyson - thanks so much for the help guys! Kim did a fantastic job (as always) and took some really beautiful pictures of the kids and clothes. We took pictures of the GO CATS!/GO LIONS! outfits, as well as some polka dots and ducks and stripes and plaids. The kids were troopers, as it was hot hot hot outside and we kept making them change clothes. Life is tough as a super model, but they got used to it. We'll have these pictures up on the site as well as a few on here in the next week or so. We want to say a HUGE THANK YOU to Kim and to all of our little models.

Prescott and I had a debate yesterday over whether or not Piper is wearing a monkey or a go-rilla. I asked him when did he ever see a pink go-rilla, and he had to think about it for a while. anyway, here's my sweetie pi. I didn't make this outfit, but I hope to be making one's like it very soon.

At last! the new burp cloth designs are here. I'm selling these as a set with matching diaper covers (picture coming tomorrow!) for 24.95. They are SO cute, and i think they will make great baby gifts. Although these two are girly, we can do boyish too. I have a new tractor design, and we can do the diaper cover without the lace. I'll be posting that soon, too. Lots of exciting new things happening, so I'll be posting more often in the next few days. jojo and her mama are coming to town, so there'll be lots of cute pictures to show!

new stuff

Be sure to check this in the morning..it's 11 o'clock pm and paul is snoring so I can't get the picture off the camera without turning on the bedroom light to find new batteries. I made some really cute stuff today! Monogrammed key chains, burp cloths, outfits (of course!) and I'm working on some bloomers. Lots of pictures tomorrow!

Burp Cloths

Oh, the amazing awesomeness of the embroidery machine! I had so much fun working on these cute little burp cloths today. I'm going to be ordering some new designs and fonts in the near future, so keep an eye out for the new stuff! The first picture is how I'm packaging all the orders - a custom gift wrap, which fits two burp cloths side by side perfectly. It is the most darling of the practical baby gifts!

Here's my newest creation! I saw a dress in this style and restrained myself from purchasing it until i could see if i could recreate the pattern - it worked! I just love the pleats...

I went to one of my favorite fabric stores today, and picked up some new colors for fall! Tatum - check out the brown and blue check - I think it is perfect for matching hannah's dress. I also picked up some petal pink and pastel blue corduroy that is going to be oh so cute!
